Good morning everyone

I just woke up from a short nap, LOL.
I was up pretty early because I went to bed at 8:45 last night.
I need some fresh air now, nice to have this mild weather.

Morning Folks..

Another rather dull, but mild day, thankfully we are not getting the white stuff that was forecast.,.. at the moment.

And that is about all there is to say, nothing happening here and do not expect and visitors this coming year, at least none have said... so far... No major projects scheduled, just the normal cut, split and stack wood for the next winter.

You all have a nice day out there...

Irishfey..

If that is how you feel... just rent a place for the winter.. Our Dr gives us prescrptions for a year repeats every 3 months at a time. so I have to go to town for them once in the winter, other times it's for groceries and visit the girls. The corner store is just not big enough to do a regular shopping trip. If you are on the water, you would miss that more than you think, ever changing, appts all the same day in day out, houses on a street you may get a change of seasons, and garbage collection but thats about it...

irishfey:

When we lived out of town we used to advertise ourselves as house sitters for the winter. Met some nice folks and made some inexpensive deals to stay in town while giving the home owner peace of mind while they were in a warmer climate

Suzy and I had a place on the water at Hilton. We liked the place and the people so decided to move there for a year to try it. The place was completely winterized and furnished so it wasn't a painful move. When you are in the Const. business your schedule doesn't fit anyone else's. So we both drove, Saturdays I always work at least a part day, I drove. Sundays the kids would have something on in the Sault, we drove together. At the end of the year we couldn't get to hell off the Island quick enough. I guess I'm too old and too dumb to get this retirement living Plus the Highway was all two lane in those days which drove me a bit crazier in the mornings.

I lucked out today.. family member came to visit and picked up my meds.for me... thank you, thank you!!! I do get my Meds. every 3 months and that helps. I think i"m just kinda tired due to the Christmas thing... will do some thinking on this before i decide what to do,, thanks for your ideas.... Would like to rent an apartment for the winter, but that would be costly.... I will know by Summer what to do and the grass is always greener on the other side so will think hard about it.....going to have a nap ,lol....later
