Good morning everyone.

I went for a walk about one mile,
It`s cold out, so it`s tea time.

Is everyone still lounging around ?

Morning Folks...

A Soccer day in the U K, so watching all the games being TV'd. I was going to go do some snowblowing afterwards, but from the way things look it will be best to wait awhile.

You all have a great day...

Hi Mallet
How is the ice on the lake. I have a camp on Goulais Bay but have not been out since October. (Of course my Smart meter still has to be paid for so the power bill hasn't decreased much). Some years the freeze happens before too much snow and wind rows and we are able to skate on clear spaces but I doubt that it happened this year.

Redranger...

I am not sure about Goulais Bay as I am on Batchawana Bay (south shore) and we get the Northerly winds. Right now we have open water again and the shore ice is out about 100 yards or so, and the waves are splashing up onto the ice. It is pretty crenulated here due to those conditions, and it really does not freeze over until the second or third week of January, unless it gets really cold, but to be honest I have only seen the "steam" coming of the lake a couple of days this season, so far!!
As far as those "smart meters" are concerned I still have not found a way to change my meal times to coincide with the winter/summer timetables, I am not hungry at 5pm and am hungry at 7pm. I can only assume that Mr Mcguinty has a very large security detail!!!

Good afternoon

I just walked in the door, I was at my grandson`s Hockey game, his team won 6-4.

My grandson scored a goal almost the full lenght of the ice.
He was very happy, he skated around showboating with his stick in the air,
He stopped and sort of twirled his stick like a baton, it was awesome.
