where the heck is everybody?? I told the blue room last night we needed to saddle up and forma a possy to to find all you guys.. almost nothing was posted since noon yesterday!!!!!

Good morning everyone, blue skies and sunny again today, but tooooooo cold!
Spring will be here soon, but winter will hang on for a while, too much snow.
Epc, I am no longer a morning person, just a "any time of the day" person now - lol.

epc I am no longer a morning person either. As I get older I get up later and go to bed later (maybe the shift I work has a lot to do with it - I have had plenty of opportunity to switch to days but this old run down body says HELL NO!)

Morn... well Afternoon now...
Oh dear another defeat for my home town team, actually a hiding, but at least it was at the hands of Manchester United, guess it's no shame to be beaten by one of the top teams in the world.
A fine sunny morning but a tad on the cool side, well cold really, wind has dropped some and the sky is fairly clear with just a little thin overcast.
Got in the fire wood and cleaned to fire out, lot cheaper than that Time of Use meter, but thats a topic for the blue room.
You all have a great weekend.

Good Afternoon Red Roomies
I spent the morning with my babies in Ajax and now it is Nana time. Making home baked beans in the slow cooker and getting ready for date night.
Wicket... Truthfully I thought I would be up at 5am every morning, just like when I was working. But, I have taken to retirement easily. Learned to sleep in too and stay up late at night.
I am starting to babysit my youngest baby starting Tuesday as my daughter's maternity leave is over. Some weeks it will be 4 days and some weeks 1 or 2 days. Love the fact that I will be spending precious time with baby, but not looking forward to getting up early again and driving to Ajax.
She is going to put him in daycare come Sept so this will only be a temp assignment.
Looks like my plans to come up to the Soo are being put on hold until the end of Aug. Can't wait to see everyone again.

epc I was talking to him in the last week and he posted in the last few days under a pseudo name, I think in the Blue Room. He has been doing a lot of work at his place lately. I'll have to try your beans sometime, Oh! by the way don't you be out late fooling around unless of course he is a good one. My Dad always said if you aren't in bed by midnight, come home. lol

Evening All..
Well in the end my hometown team only dropped one spot in the tables, other teams lost too, pheww. very lucky they could have ended up in the relagation battle. Then this afternoon one of the girls came out with her brood of foster kids, wiffy don't mind too much, but I prefer them in summer when they can run about outside, (actually I prefer them BBQ'd, stir fried, par boiled and roasted)!!! Havilland Shores drive is rather a mess thro, lots of ice and ruts/tram tracks, this is the worst I have seen the road in near on thirty years we have been out here. Anyways another week and the hour goes on so at least we shall have some extra sunlight time and this, with luck, will hasten the spring thaw....
