Good morning everyone.
My ex brought me a filet of whitefish and laketrout yesterday, that`s gives me 5 meals.
Next week I`ll be buying a 20 dollar bag of whitefish, you usally get 5-6 fish, that will give me about 15-18 meals, of course that also depends on how much they weight.

I knew Tony`s family all my life, I lived in Batchewana the first 11 years of my life, that`s where he was from too.
I sensed you knew him, he gained alot of weight, thyroid promblem.

Plus 4 here and wet today. How are you doing Mallet? I really miss seeing Grump and Bobby in the Red Room.
Bobby I hope all is ok with you. It was great meeting you and Grump and the other roomies that summer. I am planning to travel to the Soo this year sometime in August. I have committed to babysitting my grandson until then.

Morning All...
Well lets start by saying "Urghhh" what mother nature has agianst me I do not know, I sure did not need anymore of this white sh&t...
Just under the zero mark here EPC, there was a large tract of open water yesterday, but seemed to have closed up today and the wet snow has covered it over prehaps. Thats about it, just try to keep the backyard reasonably clear and get in firewood, not much else to do around here this time of year..
You all have a safe day out there, and remember that this snow turns to ice very quick under the tyres....

Hi everyone, glad to see you were up for a fun time in the pool today.
Shakey, I have a new laptop and the search engine is Bing, I don't know how to get rid of it and it overrides Google. After I copy and paste the tiny URL, the computer tells me it doesn't exist, to check that it is accurate, all that crap. I don't know how to get around it. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.
Getting out of the pool now, have to finish making supper,, see you later for the bonfire, hot dogs and marshmallows...

Good to see so familiar faces. It would be neat to see how many lurkers, past and present, there really are out there.

Remember Northbayer, Prrrrr, Dutch, God forbid...The Rev., Zing, etc. There was a good group.

Hey Pilgrim, nice to see you again. Yes, I think most of us have become lurkers because we don't like the sarcastic comments made by some of the few that post regularly in the blue room. Although we have met some new people and don't discuss politics when we are together - they are nice.
Also, I am just tired of scrolling past all the political stuff and the biblical quotes. If I was interested in that, I would open my door to the politicians and religious zealots that still bother with the door-to-door thing...

I can remember getting my coffee in the morning, logging on and chatting with our friends at least once during the day on here. Now, I get my coffee, log on, check Sootoday - read the news, check the blue and red rooms, log out and go onto Facebook, check the postings, play some mindless games, little or no real person interaction, leave the computer and do something else.
I miss our friends on here, come on back, Facebook isn't everything.

The weather has forced us all indoors with not much to do. I don't knit anymore and TV bores me to no end. I think it has something to do with all those mindless commercials.

I have been in both rooms for several months. I really don't know why, the one room had so many poster, and the other so few. It is difficult coming on as a new poster, I don't really know one room from the other. Actually the only way I was able to find the rooms, to begin with was be stumbling in; I was looking for something.
I am sorry I haven't been on here for several years.I didn't even know they existed I would not likley post unless I wanted or needed specific informatiom.
I have noticed,some posters get irate
over anothers comments, and they do seem quite rude at times. The next day I am on they seem to be on speaking terms again.
The talk at times is about American politics, I do find it interesting, all the posters views are so diverse
I am 75 next month, and retired several years ago. I like to volunteer now. The weather has been really bad and I refuse to drive in the weather. So I don't drive after dark, or in bad weather.
I really have a time, keeping up with all the latest computer technologies.
I follow all the posters on the sites, it's is as if I know everyone, to some degree or other.
I have often felt like responding to several posts. I back away because I don't want to appear stupid. I will muster up the nerve sooner than later.
