Morning Grump and CJGrandma...
Well another nice day out here at the lake, very calm and the sun is burning off the overcast/mist. Boy did it ever get humid out here yesterday, the shoreline over the otherside of the bay slowly disappeared into the mist.
Got the road board meeting tonite, having it earlier this year, just see how many people turn up...
You all have a great day, be safe, and for those down south, don't get washed away...

Good morning all; on a new learning curve, broke down and bought a laptop. I am a hands on learner and there is no manual except on line which I don't like, so this is going to be a long process.

I think quack ,quack got his head messed with in the blue room yesterday. That is what happens when you try to mess with everyone else's head. Good to see many of the nice folks back. Stepped on a nail today which was a great excuse to knock off this afternoon. That said you always get caught as the boss just rolled out her honey-do-list so it would have been easier at work.

Has the Min of Labour been and looked at the site?? made a stop work order? have you been for your tetanus shot/booster?? lord you can have a lot of fun with accidents and the health and safety rules...I remember the fuss at Elliot Lake regarding their mall, was supposed to be in danger of collapse at any moment.. keep seeing it's still there, guess some "experts" are not always right..

Mallet thank goodness I stepped on the nail up at the dump or we would as Fly says "be back into silly season". I first heard that in Saudi as the winters there were great weather (70 to 80 F and not humid) so all the company and political brass visited in the winter and the Embassies brought out their stocks of alcoholic beverages, thus the silly season. A friend of mine who has a number of Industrial locations here and there had the overhead door stick open one evening. One of the workers tried to nudge it closed and broke his collar bone. They got him an ambulance and to the hospital and filed all the proper paperwork. There was a storm blowing so the whole crew went and lowered the door by hand. The company was fined 50,000.00 for disturbing the scene of an accident. There is truly little judgement or thought into that whole process by most but there is the odd one that truly makes a difference.
