Part Zeppelin, all Heart (updated, 18 photos)

After last night's Essar Centre performance, 3,000 Saultites are convinced -- if anyone could replace Robert Plant as Led Zeppelin's front person, it's Ann Wilson.

After last night's Essar Centre performance, 3,000 Saultites are convinced -- if anyone could replace Robert Plant as Led Zeppelin's front person, it's Ann Wilson.

Over the course of two hours, sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson performed a career-spanning set of Heart classics followed by a collection of powerful Led Zeppelin covers with explosive accompaniment from Jason Bonham on the drum kit.

Early Heart career drivers like Barracuda, Magic Man, Heartless, Little Queen, Even It Up, and Crazy On You met with 80s mementos What About Love, Alone, and These Dreams to flesh out a setlist that also included a cover of Paul McCartney's Let Me Roll It.

The Zeppelin portion of the evening opened with the Wilson's haunting rendition of The Battle of Evermore, a live version of which is featured on the Singles movie soundtrack (credited as The Lovemongers).

Enter Jason Bonham and a string of Led Zeppelin hits, including No Quarter, The Ocean, Immigrant Song, Kashmir, and The Rain Song.

The night's closer was the same that brought Robert Plant to tears during the Kennedy Centre Honours in 2012 -- Stairway To Heaven.

Heart continues its tour with Jason Bonham through to the end of June with stops in Winnipeg, Regina, Edmonton, Calgary, Kelowna, and Victoria.
