~ FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2015 ~ The 2015 Soo Film Festival in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan features local and visiting films from 4:30 p.m. until midnight. All films are screened at the Soo Theatre, 534 Ashmun Street.

Join the open jam at the Moose Lodge, 543 Trunk Rd., from 8 p.m. until midnight. Open to the public. From beginners to advanced, all are welcome.

Jazz Friday at the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd., with Eugene Gassi starts at 9 p.m.

The OLG Charity Casino presents Coverfly from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The 2nd annual Sault Pridefest will host an 80s Dance Party at Algoma’s Water Tower Inn - Pavilion Ballroom, 360 Great Northern Road. Admission is $5 at the door. You must be 19 or older to attend.

Mustang Heart performs at the Esquire Club, 103 Second Line West. Show time is 9:30 p.m.

Tym Morrison plays Gliss Steak and Seafood (180 Bay Street) from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and then the The Harp (701 Pine Street) from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The Sault Blues Society presents Harpdog Brown and Little Victor at the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East. Doors open at 9 p.m. Admission is $15 for the general public or $10 for Blues Society members.

Live music returns to the Canadian Night Club, 410 Pim St., as Bone Yard takes the stage from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

~ SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2015 ~

The 135th annual Bruce Mines Fall Fair kicks of at 9 a.m. at the Bruce Mines Arena and Fairgrounds with the light horse speed show. Other events include a tractor pull, barrel races, pet shows and much more. Call 705-971-1382 for more information.

The 2nd annual Sault Pridefest continues with a number of events, including a children's story time at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library Main Branch (50 East Street) at 10 a.m., a youth dance at Cafe Natura (75 Street) at 8 p.m. for ages 13-18, and a lounge night at Loplops Lounge (651 Queen Street East) starting at 9 p.m. for ages 19+.

Galaxy Cinemas in the Station Mall will screen Annie at 11 a.m. and Last Night of the Proms at 2:15 p.m.

The Algoma Conservatory of Music presents the New Orford String Quartet in The Machine Shop at Mill Square. Music begins at 7:30 p.m.

Coverfly plays the OLG Charity Casino from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The 2nd annual Sault Pridefest concludes with a march from the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre to the Bondar Pavilion for the Loud and Proud Community Event which features vendor, activities and live entertainment. March begins at 11:30 a.m.
