Dancer James Jones joined A Tribe Called Red on stage during a free performance at the Rankin Arena Tuesday night.

Despite a bit of an altercation prior to the show that left him with an injured hand, Jones wowed the crowd with his unique blend of traditional Aboriginal styles with modern break dance.

“I'm not a supporter of violence but had to protect myself. Anyway my friend patched me up and had a good show in Sault Saint Marie. Now I'm off to the hospital for some stitches!! #tourlife,” stated Jones on Instagram shortly following the show.

Full coverage of A Tribe Called Red’s visit to Sault Ste. Marie will published to SooToday on Wednesday and will be featured in an upcoming episode of Tuned on LOCAL2.
