Area residents and fans of A Tribe Called Red were invited to a public Q&A session with Bear Witness, 2oolman, and DeeJay NDN at the Urban Aboriginal High School (the former Etienne Brule School) this afternoon.

The discussion with the Ottawa-based trio was facilitated by members of the 4Rs Youth Movement, Urban Indigenous Youth for Change, Soo York City Urban Arts Collective, and Social Entrepreneurship Evolution de l'entrepreneuriat social.

This afternoon's event was a lead-in to a free concert happening tonight as part of A Tribe Called Red's RezTour that includes stops in Moose Factory, Thunder Bay, Wikwemikong and Nipissing.

Originally scheduled outdoors at the ballpark, the threat of less than desirable weather has moved the show indoors to the Rankin Arena.

Full event details are listed below in a news release issued today by Batchewana First Nation.
