The annual Laird Fair at the Laird Fairgrounds on Lake George Road includes a variety of vendors, live entertainment, food and refreshments, animal showcases and competitions, and games and activities from 7 a.m. until midnight. The Tractor Parade begins at 10:45 a.m. followed by the pull competition. The event is offering free rides home to visitors. For full fair details, visit www.lairdfair.com

Galaxy Cinemas in the Station Mall will screen The Seventh Dwarf at 11 a.m. and Slugterra: Eastern Caverns at 12:30 p.m.

The Garden River First Nation annual Pow Wow is open to all visitors. Grand Entry at 1 and 7 p.m. Feast at 5 p.m. Host Drum is Whitefish Bay Singers. For additional information, call 705-946-4006 ext 204

The 2nd annual Emergency Festival happens at Rocky DiPietro Field starting at 2 p.m. Performers include Zachary Lucky, Gnaeus, Northwest, The Pixo Control, Poor Young Things, Tasman Jude, The Sunparlour Players, and The Fast Romantics. Food and refreshments, including ice cold suds, will be available. For tickets, visit www.loplops.com

Moonshadow plays the New American Pub, 602 Bay St., starting at 6 p.m.

The Rusti iBand performs at the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd. Show time is 9 p.m.

Tym Morrison performs at Gliss Steak and Seafood, 180 Bay St., from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Mustang Heart performs at the Esquire Club, 103 Second Line West, from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Mojo plays the OLG Casino, 30 Bay St., from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Poor Young Things play Loplops, 651 Queen St. East, starting at 10 p.m.

Havadder performs at the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East. Show time is 10:30 p.m.

Muzicare North Productions presents the 1st annual Muzicare Riverfest from 1 to 7 p.m. at 1761 Queen St. East. Performers include Algo Rythmns, the Swamp Cats, CrossRoad, Redline and a special 37-year reunion OldHat and The Rollons. This event is free to attend. All proceeds from concession sales will go to support the Strathclair Dog Park.
