An evening with Reilly Nelson

Join mezzo-soprano Reilly Nelson and pianist Brad Irwin for a special evening of song.

You will be lead through a special journey of opera, folk song from around the world, musical theatre, and jazz favourites.

This performance will take place Friday, August 14 at the Hilton Town Hall in Hilton Beach, ON starting at 7 p.m.

$20 tickets are available at Case’s Music in Sault Ste. Marie and Ambeaults Confectionery on St. Joseph Island.

About Reilly

Reilly attended Eastman School of Music where she received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance.

A year later she completed her Masters Of Music in Vocal Performance at Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music.

Currently Reilly is a second year Doctoral candidate.

At CCM she performed Hansel in Hansel and Gretel and Mary in Ricky Ian Gordon’s Morning Star.

She also performed both Hansel, and Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro at Janiec Opera Company at the Brevard Music Center.

The mezzo-soprano was a vocal fellow at the prestigious Tanglewood Music Center in summers 2013 and 2014, performing Les nuits d'été, Op. 7 and Folk Songs by Bernard Rands.
