Rotaryfest at Clergue Park runs all day with vendors, food and refreshments, children's crafts and activities, carnival rides, and live entertainment from 6 to 11:30 p.m. Main Stage performers include Obsession, Griphook, That's Chester and more.

The Art Gallery of Algoma located at 10 East St. hosts an opening reception for Kitchen in the Basement: Lessons from Italian Canadians at 7 p.m.

Join the open jam at the Moose Lodge, 543 Trunk Rd., from 8 p.m. until midnight. Open to the public. From beginners to advanced, all are welcome.

The OLG Casino, 30 Bay St., presents The Beach Bums: A Tribute to The Beach Boys from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Jazz Friday at the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd., with The Big Waltz begins at 9 p.m.

Flashback plays Reggie's West, 306 Korah Rd. Music kicks off at 9:30 p.m.

Tym Morrison performs at Gliss Steak and Seafood, 180 Bay St., from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.; and The Harp Pub and Grill, 701 Pine St., from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Mourning Wood performs at Rednecks Saloon, 304 Albert St. West, at 10 p.m.

The Pixo Control and Gnaeus perform at Loplops, 651 Queen St. East, with special guest Tom Savage. Show time is 10 p.m.

Long Shot and Stereo North play the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East. Music begins at 10:30 p.m.

~ SATURDAY, JULY 18, 2015 ~  

Rotaryfest at Clergue Park runs all day with vendors, food and refreshments, children's crafts and activities, carnival rides, and live entertainment from 1 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. Main Stage performers include Paul DellaVedova, Domina, Mustang Heart, Thin Ice and more. Stage 2 beside the AGA includes performances from 1 to 8 p.m. by Wild Iris, Stereo North, Gnaeus and many others. The 94th annual Community Day Parade on Queen St. begins at 11 a.m.

The Algoma Rod and Gun Club, 226 Connor Rd., will host the Dust Off Your .22 Challenge, an informal shooting event open to the general public. Club member fee is $10 and non-member fee is $15. Lunch is included. Call 705-542-6017 for more information.

Galaxy Cinemas in the Station Mall will screen The Penguins of Madagascar at 11 a.m.

The Brian Downey Band plays the New American Pub, 602 Bay St., starting at 8 p.m.
