This summer will see many popular Downtown Sault Ste Marie events put on hold. 

The Emergency Music and Arts festival is being organized to help fill this gap in summertime entertainment.

The one-day festival will include popular Canadian acts,  the Sunparlour Players and Poor Young Things as well as local rockers, The Pixo Control.   

On site games, BBQ, beer, and vendors will add to the fun.

The Emergency Music and Arts Festival will be held on August 15, starting at 12 p.m. at Rocky DiPietro Field.  

A special edition of Art in the Park will take place thanks to The Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, June 27.

Early bird pricing is $25 a ticket until July 2, $30 for July, and $35 for August.

Kids 13 and under get in free, students 14 and up pay $20 with student ID. 

Tickets are available at loplops.com, Dish Espresso Bar, and Case’s Music.
