The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 374 in Richards Landing on St. Joseph Island hosts its 48th annual Maple Syrup Festival from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call 705-246-2494 for more information.

Galaxy Cinemas in the Station Mall will screen Air Bud at 11 a.m.  

The Saturday Matinee at the Elks Lodge, 216 Bay St., featuring music from Crossroad runs from 2 to 6 p.m.

Misty's 50s Bar and Grill, 658 Second Line West, will host Stuart Waite and Ron Schryer from 4 to 8 p.m.

Northland Barbershop Chorus 51st Annual Show: Vintage Vinyl features hit songs from 1957-1967. The event includes guest quartet from Atlanta, Georgia, A Mighty Wind. Tickets are $25 and are available at Community Box Office in the Station Mall, Hess Jewellers, and the Soo Theatre in Sault Michigan. Show begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre.

Michael Yurich plays at Gliss Steak and Seafood in the Quality Inn from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

The Desautels Quartet, featuring Oleg Pokhanovski, violin; pianist Edmund Dawe, pianist Judith Kehler Siebert, and Minna Rose Chung, cello, will perform at the LSSU Arts Centre in Sault Michigan at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for students with ID and children are free.

Down Home Music plays at the Moose Lodge, 543 Trunk Rd., from 8 to 11 p.m.

Mojo performs at the New American Pub, 602 Bay St., from 8 p.m. until midnight.

Coverfly plays the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd., at 9 p.m.

Mustang Heart plays the OLG Casino, 30 Bay St., from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Flashback plays Reggies West, 306 Korah Rd., from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Mourning Wood is set to play the Esquire Club, 103 Second Line West, from 9:30 p.m. until 1:30 a.m.

Tym Morrison performs at the Harp Pub and Grill, 701 Pine St., Show time is 10 p.m.

Griphook plays Rednecks Saloon, 304 Albert St. West, from 10 p.m. until close.

Leaves Off Trees will play Loplops, 651 Queen St. East, starting at 10 p.m.

Stiffler's Mom plays the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East. Music starts at 10:30 p.m.
