Galaxy Cinemas in the Station Mall will screen A Christmas Story at 11 a.m. For tickets, visit www.cineplex.com

The Seven Ages of Mutt based on Farley Mowat's book The Dog Who Wouldn't Be at St. Luke's Cathedral (160 Brock St.) starts at 2 p.m. The 40-minute play will be followed by Music for the Season. Guest musicians include Laura Strum (violin) and Bruce Douville (piano). Admission is by donation.

The Saturday Matinee at the Elks Lodge, 216 Bay St., features live music from 2 to 7 p.m.

Down Home Music plays at the Moose Lodge, 543 Trunk Rd., from 8 to 11 p.m.

Theatre Algoma presents the Ontario premiere of Neil Fleming's Last Christmas in Algoma University's Shingwauk Auditorium. Curtain time is 8 p.m. Tickets are available at the Community Box Office in the Station Mall and at the door.

The Sault Theatre Workshop presents Bob's Your Elf, a play by Norm Foster, at the Studio Theatre (121 Pittsburgh Ave.) at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at Madonna Optical in the Station Mall and at the door.

Jukebox Deluxe plays the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd., Show time is 9 p.m.

Mustang Heart performs at the Esquire Club, 102 Second Line West, starting at 9:30 p.m.

Tym Morrison returns to the Harp Pub and Grill, 701 Pine St., to play from 10 p.m. until close.

The Hustle Brothers play Loplops, 651 Queen St. East, starting at 10 p.m.

Thin Ice plays the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East. Show time is 10:30 p.m.

~ SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2014 ~

The Art Gallery of Algoma hosts the Sunday workshop series from 2 to 4 p.m. This week's workshop is jewelry making with Maria Parella-Ilaria. Cost is $30 for gallery members, or $40 for non-members.
