George Canyon to Slow Dance his way to Sault

Friday, August 15, 2014   by: Staff

Canada's own George Canyon will return to Sault Ste. Marie next month, according to a tour date posted to his website.

Canyon is scheduled to play the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre on Sept. 26 at 8 p.m.

The multiple Juno Award-winning artist, known for hits such as My Name, Drinkin' Thinkin' and Slow Dance, last visited the Sault in 2011 when he performed at Essar Centre with Terri Clark.

From the artist's website:

Decade of Hits with George Canyon at the Kiwanis Theatre, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.

Celebrate an evening of music hits of the past decade with award winning Canadian country music star George Canyon and his band.

The much anticipated new album ‘Decade of Hits’ will highlight the show complemented with George’s personal retrospect of the last 25 years, sharing never-before-heard stories about his career so far.

This is a must-see show for George Canyon fans.
