~ SATURDAY, AUGUST 9, 2014 ~  

Wabi Sabi Fine Craft Exhibition and Sale at the Old Town hall in Richards Landing on St. Joseph Island features 14 guest and five main artists displays from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The first annual Emergency Festival begins with three workshop music stages - Acute, Pulse, and Shock - at 11 a.m. on Queen Street between East and Brock. Performers include Ryan Seabrook, DJ Seith and Killabeats, The Pixo Control, Mashagama, Lorrie Bolduc, Cloe Moore, and many others. At 3 p.m., the main stage starts with performances from The Frasiers, Whitney Rose, Jane's Party, Order of Good Cheer, Kalle Mattson, Lindi Ortega, and The Treasures. This festival is free to attend and open to all ages.

Ray Gassi and the Hi Test Band play the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd. Show time is 9 p.m.

Tym Morrison plays the Harp, 701 Pine St., from 10 p.m. until close.

Havadder plays Rednecks Saloon, 304 Albert St. West, from 10 p.m. until close.

Boxcar Junction plays the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East, from 10:30 p.m. until close.
