Aussie blues band to play the Sault

Australian recording artists Murder Mouse Blues Band will be appearing live at The Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd., Wednesday, August 6, as part of their The Thirst, the Hunger and the Horn CD release tour.

The Thirst, the Hunger and the Horn was featured in the November 2011 issue of Rolling Stone Magazine.

Murder Mouse Blues Band is one of the premier Australian blues folk rock outfits in Oz today.

Founded in 2008 by Adam Morris, a singer songwriting juggernaut, Murder Mouse has quickly become a national force in Australian music.

Joining Adam in the band is multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter and record producer Jon Edwards who plays blistering harp, electric, slide, lap steel, mandolin and banjo.

Australian national radio station Triple J's unearth competition has recently charted The Murder Mouse Blues Band as the No. 1 roots band for the entire competition.

The unearth competition is contested by over 20,000 bands nation wide.

Murder Mouse Blues Band's Apocalypse Blues was nominated for Blues Recording of the Year in the 9th Annual Independent Music Award in 2011.
