Highly respected actor of stage and screen Jack Wetherall hopes to host a six-week acting workshop based on the work of Shakespeare.

Each class is expected to run between three and four hours depending on enrolment, and will be presented on Tuesday evenings at Jade Wellness Studio (677 Queen St. East) starting on July 8.

Wetherall will offer participants physical and vocal exercises, as well as audition techniques for both stage and camera.

This program is open to seasoned performers and beginners with a positive attitude, curiosity and desire.

The total cost for all six weeks is $200 and includes individual coaching as needed.

Wetherall has been busy performing with the Shakespeare Theatre of D.C., teaching at New York's Stella Adler Studio of Acting and steering the Shakespeare Lab in New York.

"I am enthusiastic to share new ideas and techniques with interested Saultites," said Wetherall. "I am also keen to help shape artful and motivated auditions having worked closely with New York casting directors."

Those interested in taking part are encouraged to call 705-777-2392 or email
