Juno nominated metal to hit the Sault

NEWS RELEASE

JOHNNY PINTS PRESENTS

Juno nominated metal in Northern Ontario

Anciients, Havok, Wretched, Black Wizard, Black Cobra

SAULT STE. MARIE - Prepare for devastation on June 24 at The Canadian Nightclub when five touring metal acts, including Juno nominated Anciients (pictured), take the stage.

This concert will be co headlined by Havok from Colorado and will also feature sets by Wretched from North Carolina, Black Wizard, Black Cobra and more.

Advance tickets to this licensed all-ages show are just $15 and are available now at The Rad Zone.

Anciients last scheduled stop here on tour with Skeletonwitch had to be moved due to a last minute opportunity to tour North America with metal heavyweights Lamb of God.

We’re pretty pumped that they are able to come through on their own headlining tour this time around.

Havok has never played our little city before.

Regular show-goers may recognize Wretched from their direct support slot at the sold out 3 Inches of Blood tour stop that hit Sault Ste. Marie a while back.

This will be Johnny Pints Presents' only show this summer and most likely be one of the only all-ages shows hosted by them in 2014.

Johnny Pints Presents wants to give the younger music fans a chance to check out talent for around the world in intimate venues in Northern Ontario and is excited to have been given the opportunity to bring the Anciients and Havok headlined tours together in one night for the same show.

Not only is the lineup crazy, but it’s the same price as just one of those tours in other cities.

Patchuli at a metal show? Maybe next time you make a comment you should let the hamster run on the wheel a little more.

They're probably old school and remember the punk scene of yesteryears, it was certainly soaked with patchouli

We need more entertainment variety in the Soo, if I'm not working, I'm going!!
dadal 5/26/2014 6:08:11 AM Report

I agree. Nice to have variety away from the usual two types of music this city gets.....Country and Western.

I too will be going.

Don't worry Powerline, I'm sure you can come out too wearing 1/2 a bottle of essence of bovine guano.
dadal 5/26/2014 6:15:36 AM Report

I mean Powerwise NOT Powerline. But then again I sometimes question the WISE portion....
Dictionary 5/26/2014 9:12:22 AM Report
