May 7, 2014 – Due to bronchial pneumonia, the Engelbert Humperdinck show scheduled for May 12 Kewadin Casinos Dream Makers Theater has been postponed. 

A new performance date has not yet been confirmed.  

“We are working with Engelbert Humperdinck’s management and agency to reschedule a 2014 performance at our facility,” said Russ McKerchie, entertainment manager.  

Unfortunately, we have not been able to confirm one at this time.”

Kewadin Casino is offering full refunds for those who purchased tickets to the show.  

Customer’s tickets will also be honored for the rescheduled 2014 performance.  

To receive a refund, customers can contact the Kewadin Casino box office at 800-KEWADIN (539-2346).

Box office hours are Tuesday – Saturday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.  

Refunds will be available until June 10, 2014.

Engelbert Humperdinck and Kewadin Casinos apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.  

“We look forward to announcing a rescheduled date for this show in the coming months,” said McKerchie. 

Kewadin Casinos, with locations in Sault Ste. Marie, St. Ignace, Hessel, Christmas and Manistique, is owned and operated by the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

...and some thankful younger people that won't be dragged out to hear him.

Joking aside I am always concerned when a well known Vegas act starts hitting casinos outside of their multi million dollar venues. It's not the love of performing since top acts have good solid contracts in Vegas for years and years. I worry more about the quality.

Heard it is rescheduled for mid July.
