Red Skelton tribute show added to Sault Michigan

SAULT STE. MARIE - The timeless comedy of the late, great Red Skelton is still a big fan favourite.

The February 24 show at St. Mary’s College Theatre is virtually sold out, only a handful of tickets remain.

Promoters, Borderline Productions, have added a second show to satisfy the public funny bone.

RED - A Tribute to Red Skelton will appear at the LSSU Arts Center in Sault Ste. Marie (Michigan), on February 26, 2013.

Show time is 7 p.m.

This is the only Red Skelton Tribute show in America authorized by the Red Skelton Estate and by Red’s widow, Lothian Skelton.

The brilliant performance by Tom Mullica impressed none other than Red Skelton himself.

"Master showman, Tom Mullica is the best in his field. He is real theatre," Red Skelton was quoted saying in 1985.

Skelton’s hilarious cast of characters - Freddie the Freeloader, Clem Kadiddlehopper, Junior the Mean Widdle Kid, George Applebee and so many others - come alive to entertain new and old audiences alike.

Tickets are available at the Norris Center Box Office on the LSSU campus in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan (906)-635-2602.

Tickets for both shows can also be purchased in the Canadian Sault, downtown at Stone’s Office Plus, (705) 254-6407.

Online, you can place an order here.

Advanced reserved seating is $29.50.

Admission at the door is $37.50.
