Lineup set for Ignite Sault 5

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON (October 31, 2011) - Ignite Sault 5 takes place November 9 at the Grand Theatre.

Having gained in popularity since its inception, this edition of Ignite proved one of the largest responses to date in speaker submissions.

It appears that Sault Ste. Marie isn’t afraid to share their passions.

On the docket for this installment of Ignite is a diverse group of people who will share their personal experiences, their passions, their knowledge, or simply random thoughts and ideas.

These 11 people will bravely tell their stories in only five minutes, while being accompanied by 20 slides.

Ignite Sault 5 welcomes the following 11 speakers to the stage on November 9.

- Tyler Belanger speaking on “Miracle-Gro For The Brain”

- Neil McLean tells “A Tale of Gratitude”

- Katie Campbell shares “How I Learned To Love My Body”

- Denise Rodda discusses “Family Histories and Lifestyle Choices”

- Gerry Kirk tells us about “The World at Your Door: Adventures in Couch Surfing”

- Quinn Pleau-MacWilliam discusses “Inclusion in our Community”

- John Clement speaks about “Disconnected Interconnections in Education”

- Jennifer Woods shares “How I Started Running”

- Cindy Ellen Crawford tells us about “The Island Fairy Godmother”

- Tiffy Thompson shares the “Roommate: Ad infinitum”

- Dave Chartrand discusses “Using the ‘A’ Word in Mixed Company.”

In addition to the talks, Ignite Sault 5 welcomes "Eleven Bistro" and "Sweet Designs" to the evening for those looking for a bite to eat from one of our locally owned and operated eateries.

Ignite is a global phenomenon.

Ignite events happen across all corners of the western world.

In our community, Ignite is a fun evening of networking.

Its aim is to facilitate community growth by introducing topics and connecting the people.

Tickets are $5 with limited tickets available that include a door prize entry.

Ignite also has “Micro-Sponsor” tickets available for only $20 which include a drink ticket, two door prize entries and special recognition.
