PHILLIPS, Mary Agnes (nee Bell)

Born on February 16, 1914 in Colpoys Bay Ontario, Mary passed away on Saturday, October 10th, 2015 at the Golden Birches Terrace in Blind River Ontario at the age of 101 years. She was predeceased by her husband Harold.  They married in 1940 and were married for 60 years until Harold passed away in 2000. She is survived by her children Sharleen Cameron (Doug) of Clarkston Michigan and E.A. Ted Phillips (Lucille) of Blind River.  She was a devoted grandmother to Stacey Jackson (Darryl) of Clarkston, MI, Michael Cameron (Susanne) of Indianapolis Indiana, Stephanie Phillips, John-Edward Phillips (Angela Bowen), Julie Potvin (Jason) and Melanie Conti (Joseph) all of Ottawa.  Dear great grandmother of Matthew, Chloe, Rebecka, Isabella, Livia, Mackenzie and Benjamin.  Survived by one sister in law, Norma Watson, she is also predeceased by siblings Captain J. Harvey Bell (late Evelyn), Hermione Bell and Doris Arkwright (late Ron). The family will receive friends at the St. Saviour’s Anglican Church in Blind River on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 with the Reverend Roberta Wilson-Garrett officiating.  A luncheon will be served immediately after the service from the church hall and all are welcomed to join the family for a time of reflection. Memorial contributions to the Golden Birches Terrace Family Council or the St. Saviour’s Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.  The interment will be held at a later time in Hillside Cemetery, Blind River.
