LEVIE, Marilyn, Barbara

Passed peacefully surrounded by family after a brief illness on Saturday August 22, 2015, at Lakeridge Hospital, Oshawa at the age of 86. A longtime resident of Sault Ste. Marie, Marilyn moved to Whitby, to be closer to family last year. Wife of the late Lloyd George Levie.  Marilyn will be missed and lovingly remembered by; sons, Peter (Amira Messih) and John (Anne Goodall), grandchildren, Simon; Brooke, Meghan, Sheehan (Kecia), Alaysha (Cody) and great grandson Bentley. She is also loved and remembered by her sister Catherine Shaw, daughter-in-law Rebecca Mergaert (John Goulais) and will be missed by her several nieces and nephews. Her brother Donald Shaw predeceases. Her closest friends Norma Zettler and Jean Gallagher have lost a very dear friend. Marilyn looked forward to and treasured Jean’s regular correspondence with news from the Soo. Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Marilyn’s life will take place at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday October 10, 2015 at 10 am.  Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.
