VINCENT, John

Posted

It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected, sudden passing of our treasured son and brother in Nelson, B.C. on September 25, 2015 at the tender age of 27.  Dearly loved son of Linda and Gary Vincent.  Cherished brother of Kimberly Vincent.  Predeceased by his grandparents Mona and Floyd Buchholz, Margaret and John M. Vincent.  Loved nephew of Joan Barber (Dave), Patricia Stephan (Gord), Barry Vincent (late Marilyn), Ann Feifel (Tom), Ralph Vincent (Heather), Nancy Ambrogio (Arnoldos Jensen) and Steven Buchholz (Stormie).  John will be lovingly remembered by his cousins Majia Craig (Ryan), Shane Moodie (Kelly Stafford), Nicola Ambrogio, Michael Ambrogio, Kyle Barber (Samantha), Jordan Barber (Kate Sullivan), Tyler and Angela Stephan, Robin Feifel, Curtis Feifel (Julie), Meagan Sljivo (Sasha), Tyler Vincent (Amy). His presence will be missed by his many friends including Lucia and David Noble, Gabriella and Fernando Frecha, Daniella Bumbacco, Stephanie Slewidge, Kentaro Kumanomido, Robert Kingsbury, Alexandre Turgeon, Jennifer Brown, Stephen Mallinger, Denine Williams and the teachers at Korah, Agnes McCarthy, Meagan Kaart, St. Luke’s Choir, the Musical Theatre Community, Wolf Creek and Chuckleberry friends.  John aka Jahn Vincent was a kind soul. He wanted nothing more but to help others, and he did. He touched so many souls in his journey in so many ways. He ventured all over. He had friends/communities in Berlin, Grenoble, Paris, Victoria, Nelson, Oregon, Argentina, Jonquière, London and the Sault. All he wanted was for people to be kind to one another. His major messages were to never lose your child within, be present with nature and love one another. “For everything that lives is Holy.” Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time of John’s Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Jim McShane officiating.  Interment at Goulais River Cemetery. With John’s involvement in so many organizations and charities, in lieu of flowers, the family requests you to choose a charity that represents the relationship you had with him ie: Pauline's Place, Community Theatre or SSMGSA, just to name a few. We believe he would be honoured if you planted a tree in his memory. Special thanks to Constable Jarrett Slomba from Nelson who looked under every rock possible.  Sorry if we missed anyone. www.northwoodfuneral.com
