BENEDICT, Shirley

Peacefully at home on Sunday September 27, 2015, Shirley Benedict at the age of 79. Predeceased by her adoring husband of 62 years Delbert Benedict. Loving mother of 6, but special Mom to 9; Earla, Gary (Peggy), Brenda (Steven Olar), Kim, Debbie (Guy Lambert), Betty-Anne (Spencer Currie), Dana, Tony (Lisa) and Lindsay (Justin Peters). Shirley was an awesome grandmother and great grandmother to; Nicole (Andrew), Monique, Colin, Steven, Kimberley, Christopher, A.J., Trinity, Ava and very special great grandma to her buddy Tristan Peters. Daughter of the late Myrtle and David Brindle. Fondly remembered by her 11 brothers and sisters, her nieces, and cousins; especially the late Ellen Farrell, Diane (Hubert), Dolly (Bobby), the late Johnnie, and her very special brother Jack (late Debbie). Shirley will be deeply missed by all family, her in-laws, and her friends; Gladys, Val, Miriam, Karen and Wayne, Carl, Ricky and Marilyn, as well as Bonnie and Jason. As per Shirley’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services. Shirley’s family would like to thank all the staff at the Sault Area Hospital, Dr. Apostle, and her special angels; Debbie and Sierra.
