Passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 30, 2015 while enjoying the cottage at Old Mill Bay. Mary was as always, embracing life – kayaking, cross country skiing, running. Loving wife of Blaine White. Mother of Sarah (Jay), Becca (Shawn) and Lexi (Josh). Daughter of the late Jean and Grant Mitchell. Daughter in law of Cyril and Rita White. Beloved sister of Julie (Paul), Kathy, Patti (late Vello), Sandy (Carla). Sister in law of Darlene, Paul, Dave, Allan, Rob, and Bernie. Loving aunt of Shaun, Blair, Lindsay (Sonny), Ryan (Alysia), Jesse, Spencer, Stephanie, Matthew, Jenna, Shane, Ty and Brett. Mary was an entrepreneur, a running long jump champion, avid kayaker and, cross country skier. She loved travelling and seeing the world. She enjoyed celebrating life with family and friends. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 3pm – 5pm and 6pm – 9pm. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 11 am. Rev. Phil Miller officiating. Memorial contributions to Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be appreciated by the family.
