McLean, Robert Wayne (Bush)

(April 9, 1948-July 20, 2015) - Passed away suddenly  at Sault Area Hospital on July 20th .  Robert McLean in his 68th year, beloved husband of Violet (Corbiere) for 43 years.  Loving father of Angela McLean (Jack) of Thessalon, Robin Quinton-Moreau (Dennis) of Thessalon, Kathy Wabigwan (Sean) of Elmvale and Stepfather to Robert Corbiere (Josie) of Thessalon and Kim Goodmurphy (Dan) of Thessalon.  Grandfather to eight.  Special Papa to Dustin and Erica.  Dear son of the late Elmer McLean and Eileen McLean. Brother to Rick (Diana) McLean, Donna (Rick) Bowser, Gail (Don)  Hayward, Derrek (Suzanne) McLean, Lee McLean, Mark (Shea) McLean, Steve (Jody) McLean, Melissa (Ron) Strum, and late brother Joe McLean.  Brother in law to Rachael Clark, Emery Clark, and Gerry (Pauline) Clark.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Throughout his life, his passion has always been sports, whether playing or cheering especially for his beloved Montreal Canadiens. His laugh was contagious and it was rare to see him without a smile. He is dearly loved and will be missed by many.  Friends may call at the Thessalon First Nation Band Hall on Tuesday July 28, 2015 from 10am to 9pm and on Wednesday July 29, 2015 from 9am until time of service in the hall at 11am.  Interment in the Thessalon First Nation Cemetery.  A special thanks to the Algoma Manor caregiving staff for the wonderful care given to Robert the past 19 years.  Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Algoma Manor Charitable Foundation gratefully accepted.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon, Ontario. www.beggsfh.com
