It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Giuseppe (Joe) in his 92nd year at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, July 20, 2015.  He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife and friend Dalia.  Loved father and father-in-law of Julia Shaw (Dan) and Rino (Lori-Ann).  Son of the late Domenico and Giulia Civitarese.  Cherished brother of Emma Bernardi (late Berardino) and Maria Aminto (late Carmen) of Italy.  Loved brother-in-law of Enrico DiSalvatore (Onorina) and Nicola DiSalvatore (Nicoletta) of Italy.  Beloved nonno of Steven, Megan (Jesse), Lindsay, Spencer and Melissa.  Cherished great grandfather of Dekker.  Much loved cousin of Dolores Taraborrelli (late Mario).  Remembered by his nieces, nephews, their families and many other relatives and friends. He will be remembered for his kind nature and generous heart.  The world shall be less without him. Amazing husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and neighbour – we will miss him and forever cherish our memories of him.  Family and friends are invited to visit at Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Funeral mass to follow at St. Jerome`s Church at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Pat Woods officiating.  Entombment Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.  Memorial donations to the Cancer Society, Sault Area Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.  The family would like to express their appreciation for the wonderful care provided by Joe`s care givers and doctors and staff of the Sault Area Hospital over the last few years, especially to Dr. Frank Ianni.  Your care and compassion will always be remembered.
