Allan Bjornaa, from Batchawana Bay, died peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2015. He was born in Sault Ste. Marie on March 7, 1954 to Ollie and Agnes (Cadreau) Bjornaa. Allan was a commercial fisherman whose love for Lake Superior was only surpassed by his love for his family. He was a pillar in Batchawana Bay on which many locals leaned on over the years. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cindy (Middaugh) and three sons, Allan Jr. (Sandra), Joshua (Jaimie) and Jacob (Christa). He was also a very special uncle to Brendan Morine. Allan also had grandchildren who meant the world to him. He will be missed by Arlo, Jocelyn, Jeorge, Alvin, Madelaine, Jo Jo and Gina. He was the beloved brother to Anna and late husband Donald James, Olaf and wife Iolene, Duane and wife Joanne, Caroline and husband Ron Ainslie, Andy Clark and wife Cathy, Agnes and husband Mervyn Lidstone. He was also a favourite uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (Corner of Cathcart and St. James) on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 11:00am-1:00pm with Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:00pm.  Interment in Batchawana Bay to follow.
