(June 19, 1929 Riistina, Finland – May 26, 2015 Sault Ste. Marie) - Passed away peacefully at F. J. Davey Home on May 26, 2015, just shy of her 86th birthday and her 62nd wedding anniversary. Beloved wife of Jaakko Lustig and loving mother to Kari (wife Nancy Jane) of Sault Ste. Marie and Erja (husband Stephen Puttick) of Scarborough. Proud “Mummo” of Mika and Ansa Puttick. She is also survived by her sister Kaija Nuutilainen. She was predeceased by her sister Alli Ruhanen of Sault Ste. Marie, her parents and remaining siblings in Finland. Rauha also leaves mourning her loss nieces Armi Frostad and Marilyn Reid, nephew Pasi Nuutilainen and their families. She will also be greatly missed by many cherished nieces, nephews, friends and their families, both in Finland and Canada. A private service and interment in St. Luke’s Cathedral Columbarium is planned. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. The family wishes to offer sincere thanks to all of the wonderful care providers at the F. J. Davey Home for the comfort and compassion shown to Rauha and to them during her final days.
