Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the age of 80.  Survived by his wife Leslie of Sault Ste Marie.  Dear father of Dr. Eric Samp of Arvada Colorado, and Brigitte Samp (Gene Archibald) of Prince Township.  Loving Opa of Josae and Mathew of Arvada Colorado.  Brother of the late Helmut and Brigitte of Germany.  Following Rudi’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.  Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Sault Ste Marie Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) www.northwoodfuneral.com
