Chisholm, Robert James 'Mel'

(November 4, 1952 – April 17, 2015) - Unexpectedly at the Blind River District Health Centre on Friday April 17, 2015.  Robert Chisholm of Iron Bridge in his 63rd year, beloved husband of June for 40 years.  Loving father of Shawn Chisholm of Val Caron and the late Theresa.  Special Grandpa Robert to Tori and Dinah Chisholm.  Dear son of the late Frank and Betty Chisholm ( Kline ) and son-in-law of the late Howard and Dorothy Goodmurphy.  Dear brother of Joann Robinson ( Bob ) and Jackie Kline ( David Anderson ) both of Sault Ste. Marie, Kim Watts and Tom Kline ( Selby ) both of Thessalon, Mary Kaye Karhi ( Ed ) of Desbarats and the late John and Marilynn Chisholm.  Dear brother-in-law of Cheryl Dukes ( Bill ) of Echo Bay, Gary Goodmurphy ( Dianne ) of Marathon and the late Dale Goodmurphy.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  At the family’s request there will be no services at this time.  Donations to the Cancer Society or the Diabetes Society gratefully accepted.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beggs Funeral Home Limited, Thessalon, Ontario.
