Passed away peacefully at the SAH, on Friday March 27, 2015, in his 90th year. Survived by his loving wife Jeannine. Predeceased by his first wife Mary (nee Yukich). Lovingly remembered by his daughters Margaret Evans (Ron) and Lynda Madsen. Deda of Diane Cardiff (Roger), Andrew Evans and Ian Madsen. Great grandfather of Anthony, James, Kierstan and Nickolas. Also survived by his step-children Lorraine DeFazio, John DeFazio, Janice (Richard) Logsdon, Rene (Noreen) Reaume, Cheryl Hamis, Harry de Jonge and their families. Special great grandfather to Sophie and Gabriel. Uncle to many Yukich nieces and nephews. Joe is also survived by cousins in Poland. Brother-in-law to Alice (John) Caul, Annette (Rene) Reaume, Yvonne MacMillan and uncle to their families. His family thanks the staff at SAH and CCACA. According to Joe’s wishes there will be no funeral. A memorial service will be celebrated at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARCH or the Red Cross.
