Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, March 2, 2015 at the age of 38. Heaven’s gate opened for another angel. Elizabeth Julia Elie-Roberts was born February 24, 1977 and she lost her life long battle to diabetes. Best friend and wife to John Paul Roberts. Loving mother to her greatest accomplishments Dustin (Leslie), Chastity, Alexis. Proud grandma (G-MA) of Dakota. Dearest baby sister to Leonard (Delorse), Henry, William, Shirley (Lorne), Linda (Darryl). Amazing aunt and best friend to Deanne, Jamie, Delia, Melanie, Joanne, Joseph, Tricia, Rachel, Stacey, Samantha, Jeremy, Laura, Leanne, Robin, Christopher, Tyler, Billy, Shelby and many more. Loving god mother to Nicole. Special great aunt and inspiration to Kara. Special Ma to Skylar, Teagan, Carly, Mike, Allysia, Taylor, Des and John D. Survived by many cousins, friends, great nieces and nephews. Also Liz leaves behind to mourn her loss her Aunties Bertha, Mary, Francis and Uncle Mike. She was predeceased by her father William James Elie and her Mother Catherine Julia Elie (Cadran) as well as her brother David Charles Cadran, who were all waiting and welcomed her through the gates of Heaven. Family and friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (Corner of Cathcart and St. James) on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 12:00pm-2:00pm with service at 2:00pm in the chapel. Burial with a graveside service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery with a reception at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre to follow. Her family would like to thank the nurses doctors and staff at the SAH renal unit, emergency department, ICU and Sault Ste. Marie Fire and Paramedics for their hard work, dedication and support to Liz and her family. Donations in her memory to The SAH Renal Unit or the Algoma Diabetics Education and Care Program would be appreciated by the family.
