Passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the age of 75.  Dearly loved husband of Mauricette for 52 years.  Adored father and mentor to Phil and Amy Sist-Aceti (Marc).  Cherished grandfather of Owen, Matthew and Marc Jr.  Predeceased by his parents Fiorello and Santa Sist.  Dear brother of Plinio (Pierra), Lucia (late Franco) and Jackie (Louisa).  Son-in-law of the late Maurice and late Raymonde Hériaud.  Brother-in-law to Fabienne Stefanutti (Jean-Pierre) and late Mireille Holder (Jackie).  Rene will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Funeral service in the Chapel on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Jaroslaw Lazoryk officiating.  Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum.  Memorial donations to ARCH or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.  Special thank you to the nurses at the SAH 3C, home care nurses from Rivera and to all who helped with Rene’s personal care.  www.northwoodfuneral.com
