Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the age of 93. Veteran of WWII, Juno Beach. Beloved husband of Phyllis for 67 years. Caring father of Michael, John (Susan), Kerry (Donna), Marie DiGasparro (Anthony). He will be missed by his grandchildren Karli, Brad, Matthew, Miranda and Amy. Predeceased by his brother Harry Symboluk (late Annie) and sister Mary Pruce (late Steve). Brother-in-law of the late Mary Wysynski (late John), late John Prokopchuk (Ellen), late William (Rita), Mildred Mancuso (late Jim), Mac Prokopchuk (Greta), Gloralyn Donnelly (Frank), Paul Prokopchuk (Gail) and Rosalyn Seguin (Joe). Walter will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special uncle to Harry Symboluk Jr. and Phyllis Mihailiuk.
