LABBE, Lucien 'Sonny'

After a long courageous battle with cancer, Lucien passed away with his wife at his side on Monday, October 27, 2014 at the age of 74. Loving husband of Diane for 56 years. Devoted father of Sharon Coutu (Chris), Valerie St. Jean (Bob), Donald (Janet), Emile (Viv), Cathy Parr (Dave) and David (Lisa).  Special grandpa of Jeff, Ryan, Shane, Tabatha, Chelsey, Rylee, Brad, Nikki, Chantel, Kyle, Ashley and Jessica. Great grandpa of Ryider, Moriah, Sharyane, Ethan, Chloe, Ashley, Presley, Megan, Brittany, Chase, Jackson, Landon, Grayson, Xavier, Anna and Austin. Predeceased by his parents Lucien and Beatrice Labbe. Dear brother of Lillian (Stanley), Germain (Mike), Beatrice (Lloyd), Vivian (Ron), Diane (Tom), Pauline (Lornie), Lorraine (Brent), Paul (Dolly), Leo (Sandra), Mary Jane (Norm) and the late Richard.  Son-in-law of the late Marie and late Donald Gerner.  Brother-in-law of Tommy (Irene), Joe (Racheal), Christine (Norm), Loretta (Roger), Alfred (Cindy), Doris (late Don), John (Emaline), Ricky and the late Steve (Evon). Sonny will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.  Special friend of the late Joe Spina (Rose) and Ron Simms (Carol).  A private family service will be held at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758).  Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.  A special thank you to Dr. S.
