RITTER, Linda Jane (nee Alcock)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest wife, mother and nana at the Toronto General Hospital on October 5, 2014 at the age of 66.  After a hard courageous battle, Linda is rejoicing in heaven with God and much anticipated reunion with her predeceased son Eric Ritter, parents Russell and Lexie Alcock and son-in-law Jeremy Rosenfield.  Deeply missed by her companion of 48 years Jimmy, daughter Lauralee and her precious three C’s Catrina, Carly and Carter.  She was a beloved sister, sister-in-law, auntie and very dear friend of many.  Linda will be deeply missed by anyone who knew her or who has been somehow impacted by her love, kindness and welcoming uplifting personality.  As per Linda’s request, there will be a small service at the Faith Baptist Church in Echo Bay on Saturday, October 25, 2014 with visiting from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Trevor Peck officiating.  Desserts and refreshments to follow.  Memorial donations in Linda’s honour to the Canadian Cancer Society, ARCH or Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated by the family.  Special thanks to the exceptional care given to her by the Doctors and staff of the Toronto General Hospital.  www.northwoodfuneral.com
