Peacefully, with his children by his side at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, September 29, 2014 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of the late Mirella Gallo. Loving father of MaryLou Barone (Mario), David Gallo (Marisa) and Frank Gallo (Franca). Proud nannu of Christina, Michael, Ava, Melissa,Vanessa, Mia and Johnny. Dear brother of Bruno Gallo (Maria), the late Gaetano Gallo (Paolina), late Geniale Gallo (Maria), both of Italy, and Giuseppina Gallo. Dear brother-in-law of the late Yolanda Caruso (Mike) and Frank Meraglia (Rosemary). Giovanni will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friend Louisa and neighbours. Predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Maria Gallo. Family and friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held in St.Gregory's Church on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the SAH Cancer Care Fund or St. Gregory’s Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
