HOLMBERG, Clarence Edwin

(February 17, 1926 – September 9, 2014) - Passed away suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 88.  Loving husband of Doreen for 65 years.  Cherished father of Donna Ward (John), Riley Shoust (Fred), Karen Holmberg (Len Mizzi) and Kevin Holmberg (Jessica). Proud grandfather of Adam Ward (Amanda), Alexandra Ward (Mike), Andrea Shoust, Nicholas Shoust and  David Holmberg.  Brother of Ralph, Millie, Clinton and Lana.  Predeceased by Hartley, Donald, Walter, Douglas and Gordon.  Also predeceased by his parents George and Dorothy.  A veteran of World War II.  Dad retired from the Lands & Forest Air Service where he worked as an aircraft engineer.  Dad had many hobbies and interests along with his many wood carvings and his passion for “one more camera”.  He has left the family with countless photos to be cherished.  His quick wit and sense of humour provided numerous groaner puns but lots of laughter.  He could play almost any musical instrument by ear and the sounds of him singing while playing the piano will be missed.   A Celebration of Life at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre will be announced at a later date.  Memorial contributions to the Bush Plane Museum would be greatly appreciated.  Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com
