Peacefully with her loving family at her side on Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Sault Area Hospital in her 86th year.  Beloved wife of Antonio Caputo. Cherished and much loved mother of Amelia Coccimiglio (Angelo) Eugene Caputo (Tania), Rosemary Santoro (Gino), John Caputo (Joni), Ron Caputo (Carol) and the late Maria Caputo. Much adored grandmother of Anna Whiteside (Dale), Danny Coccimiglio (Stacey), David Coccimiglio, Dave Cloutier (Renee), Jared Caputo, Nadia Santoro, Stephanie Stilin (Luke), Ashley Farrell (Chris), Amanda Russell (Richard), Lacey Caputo,  Matthew Caputo (Jenna),  late Marc Caputo and Michael Caputo. Proud great grandmother of Madalaina Whiteside, Eva and Lilly Coccimiglio, Jasper, Samuel and Benjamin Cloutier, Rocco Stilin, Cooper and Quinn Farrell.  Dear daughter of the late Antonio and Madelena Carlucci.  Sister of the late Arturo Carlucci (late Filipina), Tomasina Bernardo (Giovanni) and Settimo Carlucci (Santa).  Daughter-in-law of the late Eugenio and Amalia Caputo. Sister-in-law of Alfonso Caputo (Mary), Mario Caputo (Rosa), Giuseppe Caputo  (Julia), Chicchina Marano (Emilio), Maria Santoro (Ottavio) and Frank Caputo (Mary-Lou) and numerous nieces and nephews. Adela’s passion was preparing Sunday Dinners where her entire family would come together bringing her joy.  She made us realize that family and sharing is the most important part of our lives. Family and friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St Gregory’s Church, 71 Estelle Street on Friday, September 5th, 2014 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to St. Gregory’s Building Fund or SAH Critical Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
