HARRIMAN, Richard (Rick)

Born October 18, 1940 – After a courageous battle with cancer, passed away at Maple View Extendicare on Thursday, August 28, 2014 in his 74th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Linda Harriman (nee Court) for 48 years. Loving father of Mark Harriman (Grace) and Heather Bakker (Ron). Proud grandpa of Corey and Ashley Bakker. Predeceased by his parents Dick and Gertrude Harriman. Brother of Gordon Harriman (Barbara). Brother –in-law of Doreen Pollard (late Dick) and the late Larry Court. Son-in-law of the late Harry and Dora Court (nee Hawdon). He will be missed by his nieces and nephews and his furry friends at home. We would like to express our thanks to Dr. Mathur, Dr. Bowen, staff at the Sault Area Hospital on 3C, 2C, the Cancer Care Clinic and the staff at Maple View on Lake Superior wing for your care and compassion in Rick’s time of need. His sweet, humourous nature was always noticed by others. Memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Care Clinic or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be appreciated. He will be missed and forever in our hearts. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 11 am until 2 pm.
