FOGGIA, Ralph

Passed away unexpectedly at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the age of 55.  Beloved husband of Sofia Foggia (nee Spadafora) for 23 years.  Loving father of Anthony and Emily. Predeceased by his parents Adolfo and Carmelina (nee LaMontagna) Foggia.  Son-in-law of Giuseppe and Angelina Spadafora (Fabbricino).  Brother of Frank (Carlene) and Angelo (Lisa).  Brother-in-law of John Febbraro and Silvana Spadafora.  Special uncle to Marc, Madelynn, Sara, Alexandra, Levi, Tia, Michela, Remo and Daniella.  Treasured cousin of Raffaele LaMontagna (Teresa), Carla Murray (late Michael) and Rose Gioia (Frank).  He will be fondly remembered by many uncles, aunts and cousins. He enjoyed watching his son play soccer and basketball.  He also enjoyed watching his daughter dance.  His love of music and cooking will certainly be missed by everyone.  Ralph was a familiar face to many while working as a City Transit Driver.  Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 p.m.  Funeral Mass at St. Gregory’s Church on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating.  Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.  www.northwoodfuneral.com
