HURLEY, Maretta 'Etta'

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of my beloved wife and our mother Etta who died peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Maple View Extendicare on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the age of 80.  Adored and devoted wife of Harold Hurley.   Much loved mother of Valerie Witty (Richard), Carol Lanaway (Brent), Susan Beharriell (Rick), and Jim Hurley (Bonnie), predeceased by her son Joseph.  Proud grandmother of Jamie Witty (Cheryl), Steve Witty (Susan), Alex Witty (Aliisa), Joseph Beharriell (Michelle), Jesse Beharriell (Becky), Ashley Beharriell, Michael Beharriell, Curtis Hurley (Natalie), Meagan and Allison.  Etta will be sadly missed by her many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and by her many nieces and nephews.  Dear sister of Gordon Nash (Marlene), and predeceased by Lucy Jackson (late Tom),  Harry Martin (Mary), Grace Hazzard (late Keith), Francis Martin, Jeanetta Morley (late Alex), and Violet Archibald (late Robert). Sister in-law of Bertrum Hurley (Frances), Dorothy Hatten (Lionel) and Denta Kalmback (Erich). We want to say a special thank you to Rita Mannarino and the great staff at Maple View for their smiles and great care and dedication. They became Moms extended family, we will be forever grateful for your kindness at such a difficult time. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Funeral service celebrated in the chapel at 11 am.
