Suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in his 68th year. Beloved husband of the late Sandra.  Son of the late Aliine and August. Father of Michelle Pold. Grandfather of Zachary and Ciarra. Brother of Rein (Jo-Ellen), late Enno (Sandra) and the late Paul (Phyllis). Uncle Jaan will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews especially Leanne Pold-Dellavedova, who has helped uncle Jaan in too many ways to mention. The family would like to thank the staff at the Extendicare Van Daele for their care, as they became his second family. During his time at Van Daele, Jaan was elected the president of the resident’s counsel.  At Jaan’s request, there will be no visitation or service.
