Mortimore, Glen Thomas

(October 18, 1948 – July 17, 2014) - Unexpectedly, and most peacefully at Extendicare York, Sudbury, Ontario on Thursday July 17, 2014.  Glen Mortimore of Elliot Lake in his 66th year, loving son of Margaret and the late Dave Mortimore of Thessalon.  Dear brother of Linda Kirby ( Alan ) of Lac-Sainte-Marie, Quebec.  Special uncle to Jason Kirby ( Sara ) and Sarah Kirby, and great-uncle to Westley and Bryce Kirby and  Ian, Hannah and Tyler Mohamed.  Glen will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his extended family at Community Living Algoma.  A celebration of Glen’s life will take place at Algoma Manor, Thessalon, Ontario on Saturday August 16, 2014 at 2:30pm.  Interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Little Rapids.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon.
