It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father and Opa who died peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2014. Adored and devoted husband of the late Janna deBruyne. Devoted father of Ellen Hollingshead (Stephen), Willem deBruyne (Karen Fera), Lynda Wright (Tom) and Brenda Holland (Terry).  Proud Opa of William and Turner Hollingshead, Alaina, Benjamin and Adam deBruyne, Jessica Oldham (Joey) and Stephanie Wright, Christina and Michelle Seccareccia. Son of the late Willem and Leuntje deBruyne. Predeceased by sisters Cornelia, Hendrika and brother Jan. Brother-in-law of Maatje and Wilhelmina and predeceased by Adriaan, Jacob, Leendert, Pieter, Lena and Maria. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Job and Janna immigrated to Canada from Holland, leaving behind family and friends and all that they knew and created a great life in Canada. They were proud of their new country. Job was an active member of Emmanuel United Church for over 50 years and will be greatly missed by the church community that he loved. Family and friends are welcome to come and celebrate a life well lived at a Memorial Service held at Emmanuel United Church on Friday July 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., Reverend Bruce McLeish officiating. Memorial contributions to the Emmanuel United Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family. We want to say a special thank you to the great staff at Collegiate Heights Retirement home and Maple View for their smiles and dedication to Job. To Karen Scott, Stacey, Adrianna, Jasmine and Anne Marie, we will be forever grateful for your kindness at such a difficult time.
