Erin Souchereau, age 34, daughter, sister, aunty, partner, granddaughter and nurse was suddenly taken from us by an alleged impaired driver on November 8th, 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona. Best friend, soulmate and "travel ranger" to Six Stewart. She will be deeply missed by her parents, Lawrence and Lorrie Souchereau, sister Jennifer (Michael Maguire) and grandparents (Meme and Pepe) Alice and John Caul. Erin was a proud and adoring aunty to Theo Maguire. Predeceased by her grandparents Lawrence and Eleanor Souchereau (Windsor, Ontario). She is now welcomed by her Great Grandmother, Berthe Quesnel. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends world wide are grieving the loss of this beautiful soul. She also leaves behind her beloved cats "The Boys", Petey Cat and Emmett. Erin was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and attended Mount St. Joseph College. Her love for travel was sparked in 1998 when she traveled to Brazil through Rotary Exchange. Upon graduating from York University, Erin worked in Southern Ontario for a number of years however was drawn to the adventures of travel nursing. Traveling throughout the United States, Erin had the opportunity to touch many lives with her genuine love and compassion, unforgettable smile and infectious laugh. She also had a love for marathon running, hiking, poutine, Supernatural, Archie Comics and bowling. Erin finally settled in Phoenix Arizona, her second "home" and during this time, continued her adventures with her "travel ranger" (Six Stewart). Erin was cremated in Phoenix, Arizona and will be brought home to Sault Ste. Marie. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 4, 2015. The family would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming number of tributes on behalf of Erin.
